My grandmother played many roles in my life: grandparent, mother, counselor, teacher and even nurse when I was sick with my numerous childhood kidney infections. Grandmom Jo is now cursing 80, and our relationship has reversed- she now depends on me to be a caregiver. I cherish the moments I have with her and want to share my stories with others.
